Great weight gain today! They are taking well to their feedings.
Things went pretty well today except that we learned that Bennett still has a small bleed on his brain. They detected it the first week and it's still there. They're not sure if it'll cause long-term brain damage or not. I guess the upside is that it's not on of the known more serious bleeds. Bennett's hermatocrit level was low again so they did another blood transfusion. I guess at some point his bone marrow will start making red blood cells on its own. |
I'm glad they're getting bigger, and how nice to see their sweet little faces! I'm sorry to hear that Bennett has a bleed & I hope that turns out ok. Still thinking of you - love to see those pics of Char, too!!
